No. No. Go back and read more. Your OC is most likely adopted by that nation in some way, or something along those lines. Or they probably invaded. ._. There are a few instances where they MIGHT could be considered the oc's parent(s), but this is very very rare and most likely won't happen to you.

they aren't america's kids, alot of the states are OLDER than the FUCKING country. (I.E Hawai'i, Florida, New Mexico, THE THIRTEEN FUCKING COLONIES)
Be wise as to demographics and heritage. Don't just bullshit on present day demographics, again, look at the first tip.
Multilingualism. It happens. Especially if you tend o be in your 200-500's.
^^^ MUST BE BACKED UP THOUGH. WHY DO THEY KNOW THAT LANGUAGE? IS IT TIED TO THEIR HISTORY?
Don't base an entire state off one city. I swear to GOD ALMIGHTY. (ie, if you're going to make an Illinois, don't base the whole thing off Chicago. DOWNSTATE ILLINOIS EXISTS!! Same for NY, MA,WA blah blah you get it.)
Violent past =/= Mental problems!
Don't defend white-washing. ( looking at you white DC)
State-tans =/= buttbabies. (looking at you Hetalia USUK State!buttbabies.)

Hurricane SandyHow is everyone? I made it through the storm okay and with electricity, but the rest of New York wasn't as lucky. :( My thoughts are with everyone who's been affected by the storm.

nor give them blue eyes either, and don't go with 'oh the blue eyes represents that they are surrounded by water/I gave them purple eyes because Iceland has them/the white hair and skin represents the snow' or 'the Europeans came in and effected there appearance!' no, just don't! the Inuits are the majority and there appearance would be dark skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes -yes, brown eyes are very common among Inuits-
plus if that were the case with blue eyes then shouldn't England, Japan, Cuba, and Seychelles have blue eyes too??? since they are surrouned by water.
and sure, Iceland may have purple eyes but he also has been depicted with blue eyes too -admin prefers blue eyes actually for him-, keep that in mind.

OOC//: How to make an inuit OChello to you all, today I like to discuss a rather a somewhat touchy subject that I notice when some people make Alaska, Yukon, NWT, Nunavut, and Greenland esepecially they are rather incorrect or often innaccurate. Well, today I would write this down and teach you the proper way of how to make an inuit OC -now keep in mind that I might be incorrect with my information but if you sense anything I wrong about it then please tell me- now it doesn't have to be just for Hetalia, it could be for any series or your own if your making...anyway, let's begin with the basics.
What is an Inuit?
They are known as the 'aborginal people' 'native' or as Europeans often call them 'Eskimos' but a more polite term to use is for the inuits in Russia they are refer to as 'Yupik', the ones in Alaska are refer to as 'Alaskan Native', the ones in Canada are refer to as 'Inuik' and Greenland is often refer to as 'Greenlander'. I became a state on that day fifty-three years ago. As you can see, it isn’t quite that big of a deal to me, since I’ve seem to have remembered it a day later. I would’ve blamed it for how long ago it was, but fifty-three years isn’t that long of a span of time for people like me—-people like us. My statehood, like all statehoods, has much to do with political clout, and how valuable I would be to the Union. It was like deja vu for me, because the Russians wanted me for the same thing.
Though I can say the only day that really stood out the most to me, was when I  was placed into American hands. The Alaskan Purchase, or as others called it, Seward’s Folly. From my understanding, this event wasn’t something to be celebrated, at least in the capital so far away from me. The purchase officially happened in August.
